Robin Brese, Luke Tilley Join Nelson Mullins’ Intellectual Property Group in Boston

Boston (November 15, 2016)–Robin L. Brese and Lucas D. Tilley have joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s Boston office as technical specialists in the Intellectual Property Group.

Before joining the Firm, Dr. Brese served as a licensing intern for the University of Massachusetts Medical School Office of Technology Management. Prior to that, she worked as a research assistant at both Brown University and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Dr. Brese earned her Ph.D. in Immunology and Virology from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She earned her Master of Science in Plant Biology from the University of New Hampshire and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and Hispanic Studies at Wheaton College. 

Dr. Tilley joins the Firm from a position as senior scientist in Synthetic Biology at the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory. Prior to that, he held positions as a therapeutic development scientist at Sarepta Therapeutics, a postdoctoral fellow at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research at MIT, and a senior research associate and quality control analyst at AVI BioPharma.

Dr. Tilley earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Oregon State University and a Ph.D. in Microbiology & Molecular Genetics from the University of Vermont.
