CHARLESTON, S.C. (August 2, 2016)–John McElwaine, a partner in the Intellectual Property Group of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, will present a webinar on good practices for corporate websites as part of the Legal Quick Hit Series of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC).
Mr. McElwaine develops, advises, and implements online intellectual property policing campaigns as well as brand protection measures on the Internet and within online social media networks for his clients. He also counsels and advocates for clients on a variety of domain name and Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) policy matters.
Mr. McElwaine is chairman of the Internet Committee of the International Trademark Association for 2016-2017. A frequent speaker and author, he is a panelist on Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy cases for the World Intellectual Property Organization.
